Pernell Whitaker, one of the best lightweight fighters ever, passed on Sunday in the wake of being hit by a vehicle.
The 55-year-old, tenderly known as 'Sweet Pea' during his battling profession, was hit by a vehicle, at a crossing point in Virginia Beach on Sunday night. Whitaker surrendered to his wounds on the scene.
As indicated by neighborhood police, the driver stayed nearby with police, and the examination stays dynamic.
