The DLive Platform
Description
DLive is a livestreaming and video host platform, the main intention of this platform is to provide a decentralized home for content creators where no special interest groups, push ads or third parties exist - this enables any sort of individual to build a community and produce their own unique content with no limitations whilst given an opportunity by DLive's curation system to help improve their viewer base.
DLive.io has been in development for 3 months and released the official platform in November. Since the beginning a bounty program was announced, multiple campaigns for the Steemit community to get involved in and provides a welcoming home for all content creators. From starting off in a Slack group to a Discord group with 1100 active members, DLive is the new home of livestreaming!
The Staff Team
The staff team is built up of 14 users who dedicate their time to ensure DLive is a welcoming community and functioning platform! The Staff Team have multiple responsibilities such as proposing livestreams and posts through curation, creating and developing applications on the DLive platform and moderating the community.

My live stream keeps getting taken off the main page
This is a current bug that we are working on, don't worry it will be resolved soon!
Why doesnt my stream upload after im finished streaming
This feature is not currently available, you can download your stream after your done streaming though and upload it from there.
What Bit Rate do you use for 720p Live streaming? - 1500 kbps - 2000 kbps
What Bit Rate should i use for 480p Streaming? - 800 kbps - 1500 kbps
What Bit Rate should i use for 1080p Streaming? - 3500 kbps - 10000 kbps
Why hasn't Dlive upvoted me yet, i have noticed everyone else getting upvoted?
We are trying to keep up with all the new streams, just because you havent gotten an upvote doesn't mean you do not deserve one.
What is the aspect ratio for thumbnails on Dlive
it is 16:9
What makes a great stream?
Quality lag less audio and video. Interactions with viewers via chat or voice. Additional things that make a stream great are a webcam and overlays.

Nice post, and I'm optimistic about DLive. I'm quite sceptical though. DLive seems promising, but it doesn't seem like it's as big, nor even close to how big DTube (and DTube isn't even that big yet). I'm looking into producing live on the platform but there doesn't seem to be a lot of viewers yet...
These things take time, for a platform that gets 1000 new members a day is pretty incredible, and too maintain roughly 10% of those users and keep retention is even better. Long live DLive!
