Live with @moneymatchgaming's KOTH(King of The Hill) for Super Smash Bros Wii U! This is a free-to-play $5 KOTH event, meaning the player that is dubbed the King of The Hill, will win $5! You need 10 total wins on stream to win the event. Wins do not need to be consecutive. If you lose a match, we will automatically rotate you to the bottom of the hill(the back of the line to fight), until you ask to leave the hill or we realize you simply are no longer with us.
Today's Event is sure to feature MMG regular and King of The Hill, Hydrocity(Sonic main, Nebraska). Hydrocity has won the most KOTH events at MMG since their inception into the weekly schedule in early 2017. With the most wins in 2018, Hydro is beginning to see regular challengers on the Hill as Smash players prep for majors events this summer. Though he lost last week( to Benny&TheJets of South Carolina, Rob main), Hydocity has never lost 2 King of The Hill in a row. Will this week be different?
About MMG's KOTH
KOTH is a free-to-play, 1v1 ,best of 1, with 2 stocks and 6 minutes of time. The player that wins the match will remain on the hill, and the loser will rotate to the back of the line(the bottom of the hill). Any wins that you achieve on stream will be tallied by admins, and added to your total. Players need a total of 10 wins to claim a prize.
As for map selection, KOTH is a very laid back event, and we let the gaming gods decide the fate of the map. You simply need to choose one of the available tournament legal stages, and the game will do the rest.
