I do the same thing, try to look at the camera more as it will feel like eye contact. Looking away makes it seem like you are looking over both shoulders.

Yea I don’t really think about the camera. It feels more like a phone when I do videos because I just sit and talk.

Ah yeah that makes sense. If I am on the phone I usually end up looking all over the place.
