The problem with YouTube is that they are such a giant, and they want to keep as much revenue to themselves as they can. They want to give less to the community for it too, and with the privacy issues, revenue issues, and more, content creators are branching off from the giants to be off on their own things.

Dtube is great, but if everything from youtube came here overnight i doubt that steem can handle it.

That's a fair point! I also don't think everyone will hop over to Steem right away. We are gaining steam (pardon the pun), but it'll be a slower growth compared to some of the other platforms!
