Good call @josteem! For each post, the dmania team requires a 10% beneficiary reward for using the platform. It's pretty cool though - because you can earn Steem + support the @dmania platform all while creating hilarious content.

However, not much people Know that !! which is a Good point they should set a warning on their front page though ( kind of service terms and conditions.. so users agree before they start using the platform. I don’t say they do something wrong changing fees or commission .. However.. transparency is a KEY .. specially in the block chain era !

Not tax lol But developers of different dapps on top of steem blockchain ( e.g dmania, Dtube, dlve, etc) they charge some fees ( Actually a little bit too high .. and higher in other dapps e.g dyube charges 25% of all Rewards ).... its legal to charge as they spend time and resources to maintain such plattforms.
