Benny is the smallest of the 4 dogs my wife and I have. His previous owner abandoned him on a sidewalk and he was found by a pet rescue, that we support, and nursed back to health. He weighed in at only 1 lb and didn't have much will to live. He also had multiple health problems that continue to this day. We decided to foster him, which quickly became a permanent adoption. Despite all of his difficulties over the last 2 years has grown and been very happy.
Last Friday that changed a little bit and we checked him in to a vet hospital. His doctor currently believes that his liver has an issue and is working to resolve it.
The little guy has had such a rough hand dealt to him and we're trying to give him the best life possible.
