Doge! Why do we even like it?

in #doge8 years ago

Doge. Its a meme coin.
As of this writing 1 doge coin is worth approximately $0.0056 and has a market value of $639 million. At its all time high it was worth over a penny and a half. Its the 35th highest market cap at this point.
But seriously why do we like it?
Me? I like dogs. And I like memes. Lol. But at the same time doge has somewhat become accepted as a tipping system among the online and more specifically the meme community. By simply posting their dogecoin address, they open themselves up to small tips. This can make for a somewhat passive income. That is, if people with doge, see and like your content. Specifically the funnier it is, the more likely you are to get tipped. The thing about doge though is, again as of right now, there are about 113,419,395,072 doge in circulation. No typo. And that number will continue to increase for the foreseeable future. The current block reward is 10000 dogecoins. So it's actively mined as well. Some argue the massive growth in supply forces its price down. Regardless its used. So there is obviously an interest in it. And it continues to grow. Just the fact that it has a somewhat loyal userbase that has been around for a while gives it ground to stand on and a headstart compared to other coins. So I'm interested. And continue to learn about not only doge, but all cryptocurrencies.

Asu

Asu? Is that an abbreviation?

Your pup reaches his full size between 12 and 24 months.

When we rescued him at around 3 years old, he put on lots of weight as he was malnutritioned.
But everyone we've seen since putting on his weight, has said he has gotten at least a few inches taller as well. We haven't noticed it. But it is possible.
