12 week mange treatment for $20

Other than the problem of excessive reproduction that results in a starving and sick population as a whole, the number one problem that the strays of Krabi, Thailand and presumably much of the world is parasites that lead to terrible skin problems.

Have you ever had an itch such as a mosquito bite or some allergic reaction to some sort of plant like poison ivy and you were told not to scratch it but you simply can't help yourself? Now imagine that you don't have the mental capacity to understand these things and also the fact that the problem NEVER goes away. That is what a lot of these sweet street dogs (soi dogs they are called in Thailand) face basically their entire lives. They scratch and scratch and scratch until eventually they break the skin which leads to more parasite infestation and then scratching the wound becomes painful.

You can see that the fur is missing on the back here and it is similarly fading on other parts of the body where the dog can reach including bite marks on the belly and scratch wounds on the ears

Imagine being in that situation where you are overcome with itchiness but scratching said itch results in pain. I can recall one time in my life where I had really bad sunburn and that is really the only way I can relate to it. It was a miserable time that lasted only a few days and I put this in my mind every time I see one of these pour souls: They have dealt with the equivalent of my sunburn issue in college for their entire lives.

Here are the results after 4 weeks and a single dose of the medication

What a huge difference just one little tablet makes. I observed this fella for a while and noticed he was scratcing dramatically less than when we first treated him nearly a month ago.

We recently started an initiative with a manufacturer of a broad-spectrum anti-parasite edible treatment (at a massive discount per treatment - thanks!) in order to mass treat certain areas of Krabi to see if we can manage to curb the spread which is really important because if you don't treat all of them the infestation simply lives on the untreated doggos and 12 weeks later it simply jumps back onto the treated ones after the effects of the medicine wears off.

What you got there? IS that for me?

The second picture is clearly a different animal but we don't have a "before picture" of him so you'll just have to take my word for it. I wanted to put a pic of the product in there so that you can see what we are talking about here.

Keep in mind that this product is very affordable so if you are ever traveling and notice a dog that has skin problems know that you can solve its suffering for about what you might spend on an average dinner for yourself at Applebees. Maybe one of those days you can eat something cheaper for dinner and ease the suffering of an animal for 3 whole months?
