The way I dealt with the year 2020 was to create my own reality. In this reality, Double Eagle began recording again, became a member of the Atom Collector Records community, and they discovered a record label by the name of Twice As High Records (or TAH Records). Between the sonic sculpting of Dr. Westward Selsner and the computations made by the Double Eagle science team, there came the birth of TAH Records with the release of the Thurman's Kitchen 7" by Double Eagle, which was our first physical release outside of dubbed Maxell XL-II cassettes:

Further calculations led to our usage of the multiverse model, which gave us the obvious yet non-trivial task of creating our epic COVID 20/20:

Now that this reality has been confirmed to exist by its own creation, there are many exciting things happening for TAH Records in 2021. Double Eagle products will soon be available via Jib Machine Records, which has a whole lot of awesome other tunes, and can be found here:

On the game, Double Eagle is still early on in the music biz, but at the current rate they threaten to break the top 200 players in the next few weeks... I need those black eye butterfly and Trenton Lundy cards for sure though.
While there are around 10 releases for TAH Records in the works, the stage of production ranges from rough idea, to major goal, to already rough release date. At this point, we have the next two physical releases set. These are due to be available by June 2021, released at the same time, and in fact there will probably be a bundling option for the Double Eagle Street Team members out there! We have:
Thru the Clouds of Smoke LP (TAH-002)
A compilation of 10 artists with 10 tunes which are all incredible. See our previous Hive post about this with the first 4 tracks. The artist is working on the cover art and the tunes will be sent to the pressing plant by the end of February. I don't want to say too much about this one because I've already posted about it, and I need to save the hype for closer to the time. But I'm working on a 60 sec promo video for it and it is going to be a heavy record. More to come on this one.
United Duality/Double Eagle split 7" (TAH-003)
One of my favorite tracks of 2020 was United Duality "Cheer Up"; here's the song:

It's such a great tune. I feel like it is a perfect mixture of the Beatles and Madness, and has a fantastic mood and melody. I realized one day that I liked the song so much that I really wanted to have it on vinyl. United Duality will have "Cheer Up" on the A-side of this 7" 45rpm release, and Double Eagle will have "Qualms with That" on the B-side. Here's the Audius link for the B-side:

This one is going to be a very fun record, and with it being released at the same time as Thru the Clouds of Smoke, you will have loads of summer jams on wax.
If that wasn't enough, there have also been talks of Twice As High Records teaming up with the Rising Star Game for a vinyl release. Don't know when that one will become a reality, but I have a feeling it will be TAH-004 and you will hear more about it here before too long.

Double Eagle seems to have big plans for 2021, while it was not sitting still in the previous year. The scientific mindset of Double Eagle seems to do something interesting: While it blogs at HIVE and it plays HIVE based games, it seems to have learned from all these decentralised technologies and ported this towards its ways to distribute its music. Four platforms referenced in this post: More to come? ;)
Definitely more to come! Double Eagle learns whatever it can in terms of methods of getting the tunes to the people. Plenty of people out there still who don't yet realize they need DE in their life but we will find them!
Nice abbreviation DE. In my country we have a coffee brand called DE. The energy part you both have in common :) Hope DE is finding its ways and more and more fans will be established :)
