Scaling the data on the blockchain is already hard. :) Witness servers, seed nodes, full nodes require lots of resources at the current state. I would favor keeping text only data in the blockchain with the current economics and the infrastructure requirements.

I know but I have a lot of unused bandwith I wanted to do something with it :D
However maybe to upload some texual docs or small images could be a use case, after all also posts on Steem are documents stored on a blockchain
