Voted for Action,Adventure,Animation,Sci-fi/Fantasy.
i like larger than life concepts that fit on the big screen. If there's no action, explosions, high stakes, huge vistas, and plenty of the impossible, then it's closer to real life, and not much of an escape for me.
The types of animated movies I'm generally drawn to have elements of the others I voted for, but seeing how a lot of what I've watched comes from Pixar, Dreamworks, and DC animation, there can be a mixture of quite a few genres, as a lot of animation is geared for a much younger demographic than what I fit into.
That said, I like movies that spark the imagination, rather than ground me in reality. I just think you can find romance, drama, crime and comedy all over network television if you want it, and I'm not a fan of horror, so if I don't see it at all, I'm okay.
