I think I would have chosen other for this, because I do believe that fewer people actually hold most of the crypto than what we could reasonably call decentralized, but whether that would continue after mass adoption is a good question.
I don't know that it is resulting in more freedom and transparency yet, but I do believe it's opening the conversation up in at least some circles, which is a start. There needs to be a foot in the door before change can occur, and I think that foot is still being established. Once the foot is nicely wedged, then we will start to see some actual change.
Time will tell whether or not crypto realizes decentralization on all levels across all spectrums and possibilities. Without at least the conversation and the means, however, none of it happens.
