After a year, boredom is starting to set in. Seeing the same posts of no interest. Actifit, steemhunt, drugwars, these posts add zero value to me.

Then there's the same circle who have been in charge over the last 3 years. There is no reasonable basis to expect different outcomes when we continue to have the same input.

Finally, when the crypto market picks up, it won't take long for someone to create something better.

I'm all for dapps flourishing in the ecosystem, but they are starting to become rather spammy.

I wish they had better ways to reward their users. Too bad SMTs never came to fruition. To be frank, I don't even know if anyone else wants to attempt social media on the blockchain again.

Creating a decentralised Social Media platform is a good idea. But steem is becoming the anti-social centralised blockchain. Both in its design and it's stake holding.

Others will try it and will succeed, it's inevitable

Most people are not going to care about the "centralized" part.

I would say being "anti-social" is the bigger problem.

Without decentralisation we are back to trusting a central group/body/company. Might as well stick the whole thing on Amazon Web Servers and make the user experience smoother in that case.

Well, I’m pretty sure most people came here due to speculation, and not some ideals about future of banking, decentralisation and all that.
