STEEMSENSE alpha: What would be the best airdrop strategy?

I am currently testing with some code for the @steemsense-eu proof of concept. SteemSense-EU is to become a proof of concept for a bid-based revenue sharing STEEM-burning advertising platform for STEEM.

The current idea is that STEEM will be the primary currency for the platform for any non-STEEM advertiser.

If there is a lack of bids, something that is likely to often be the case during project start-up, the top STEEM/SBD burning promoted post for shall receive free auto-generated-banner ad displays for each primary tag. A one STEEMSENSE a day reward pool shall be set aside to be divided amongst non-advertiser-funded click through facilitators and /or users of the STEEM promoted feature. That is, untill the max supply of 1,000 STEEMSENSE is reached.

I've currently made 1% (10 STEEMSENSE) available on steem-engine in an attempt to maybe get some funding for my project. Mostly to be able to allocate more time to the project and speed things up.

I also would like to spent about 1% (10 STEEMSENSE) in an airdrop, mainly to get some attention for the project.

What do you think, from a marketing perspective would be the best way to do the one time 10 STEEMSENSE airdrop? And what do you feel is the best way to spent the daily 1 STEEMSENSE reward pool?

  • Use a blacklist of bidbot users for the airdrop

  • Use a blacklist for bidbot users for the reward pool

  • Make the airdrop stake based

  • Make the airdrop voting power based

  • Make the airdrop based on the amount STEEM/SBD burned in the last 3 months

  • Only airdrop to accounts that have burned STEEM/SBD in the last 3 months

  • Don't airdrop, STEEMSENSE should be earned with click-throughs

  • The reward pool should only go to click-throughs

  • The reward pool should be split between click-through facilitators and promoted users

  • Something else for the airdrop (comment)

  • Something else for the daily reward pool (comment)

I think airdropping to active steemians will be interested, maybe those with a lot of followers since if they promote it, you will reach better audiance.

I am not sure I understand the purpose of the token. But if you are only airdropping 10 I would just do it manually with whatever logic you think is best.

It seems you tried to peg it to 1000 Steem price on the DEX, so if that is really the value of the token, I'd just do it manually.

The initial reason for the tokens existence is for kick-starting the bid-based ad revenue sharing platform. If there are no bids for a given tag + filters, the popular page owner would show auto generated banners for promoted post instead. As no bids underly promoted, a daily mint of one STEEMSENSE could provide some form of reward despite of zero matching bids.

The idea is that next to STEEM, bids for ads can be made in STEEMSENSE as well.

There should be no peg, and I guess any airdrop would bring the price down. The first 10 STEEMSENSE are ment as an attempt to attract a bit of funding for the project, so I can spent some more time on it than the half a day per week I currently do.

If you buy some, DONT Buy them as investment. Buy them because you believe in the project and want me to speed up development by allocating more time!

If that part doesn't work out, no problem, things will just continue to move slowly and I'll just add that 10 STEEMSENSE to the airdrop.
