What do you think about TRON?
I'm curious about what are your thoughts about TRON [TRX]...
Despite the lately uprise, I have seen many News concerning TRON's performance as Dapp platform...
For instance:
Former chief strategy officer (CSO) at BitTorrent says Tron network cannot handle launching new BitTorrent token (BTT).
...Or the followings:
Tron's founder Justin Sun and his developers are only skilled at marketing, not technical aspects of project development, former BitTorrent CSO claims.
Launching BitTorrent Token On Tron Will "Literally Destroy" TRX Network
Or this one:
Something fishy is going on with the Tron Accelerator $1m developer contest

Despite all these questions, TRON attracts lot of people. I've seen it as a solid TOP 10 crypto (by market cap), with lot of transactions (20% of the market cap is transferred every 24 hours), but I do not any meaningful use cases for it.
yeah... I know it's attractive that's why I think they have a very good marketing plan...
Good question, that i have been asking myself for quite a while. I would go close to the marketing project answer, but tbh, they managed to launch the chain, and have dapps operating on it, so this is already more than i'd have ever expected them to accomplish.
My assessment would be they are a good copycat project, that has successfully ripped off ETH and EOS ideas, to which they'd of course fall short midterm as for innovation . Their Bittorent thing now is actually an interesting approach, and i wouldnt give too much about what this EX(sic)-CEO is saying. Why not wish them luck ...?

TRON is a lesser EOS with marketing, more centralization and general Chinese stuff involved. I've traded it a little and the project does have upside. But it's still just a second rate EOS with first rate PR
I believe it is a nice SCAM project. But you can earn some money, if you are not too greedy. 🤑
@toofasteddie, I have some TRON as a diversification/ hedge of my Ether investment.
