If you do it all the time without any real reason/goal, then yes, it is a mental illness.
Just like being selfish and greedy.
The Steem blockchain is full of people with mental illness.
Most of the users care about only their own blog posts, they do not care about other people's blog posts. They are very selfish and greedy.
