Only 3 episodes left and there are tons of theories out there about how Dragon Ball Super will end. With all the varieties, there always seems to be some consensus that Universe 7 must survive somehow because we know that the end of Dragon Ball Z takes place later in the timeline. Well my new theory allows for the end of Z AND Universe 7 possibly losing and getting erased.
It was a few episodes back, when Universe 7 and 11 first went at it, Goku and Jiren jumped into the air and threw punches back and forth. During this scene they were having this very interesting conversation about why each wanted to become stronger. Now in episode 129, were going to have another 1 on 1 with the two.
THEORY!!
During their heated battle, Goku and Jiren continue their small talk, and at some point Goku tries to turn the conversation to the Evil-Doer that killed Jiren's parents. Goku convinces Jiren that they should work together to take that person down, Jiren eventually agrees, and they both stop battling and convince the Zenos to halt the tournament in favor of their new mission. The Zenos agree to pause the tournament until the Goku and Jiren defeat this evil-doer.
NOW
Fast forward to the end of Z. Goku finishes, or is in the process of, training Uub. Jiren comes and says that he's found the evil-doer. They head off to go find and defeat him. Cliffhanger.
SO
End of Z has happened, tournament of power still not over, and we get a cliffhanger which at least I am hoping for. Still a happy ending, and still some unknown.
