Our hero takes a look out the window and immediately notices there's a window on the outer wall of the floor just below him. It wouldn't be difficult to climb down. Or he could continue to explore the floor he's on.
What would you have our hero do next?

i think next think the mighty hero need to do is go down the window below him and find something that will take the story to a different way.
surely it would be safer to go back and climb through the hole in the corridor???

Jump to the next floor, but only if it's not dangerous. Discover what's on the next floor, maybe some new ideas and weapons or maybe a way out if he's lucky.
I think it will be better, if he climb down to the lower window.Seems that there is a door on the lower floor.Our hero should climb down and should cheak the door,maybe there is a way to exit.Go hero, good luck.

our hero should go through the lower window which leads to a door use it may be it leeds to some exit
He definitely should climb down, but carefully. I see a door and it certainly would be of immense help to his escape.
As always hero do that thing which may did not come to in our mind..
i suggest that the hero should climb the upper window and then he should take a look the window below if it safe to through it or not ..
If safe he should also go through this and explore the whole building with something which is helpful...

The first thing you should do is jump and try to escape because if you put a check on that floor you may detect it quickly and the important thing is to get out of there and not try to stay longer in that confinement.
Well, I think my hero should hang out the window and swing down and leave that floor where he is, because at any time you may discover it, and being on the floor below must be very careful not to be discovered and try thus to get an exit from that place in which he has been trapped for a long time.
Suddenly flood and earthquake happen and the hero get left this world. (He will die.)👍
I think he should explore on the floor he is on now, the barges should think he climbed down the rope to the floor below, so it should be safe to check out some of the rooms on the current floor.
Well, why do we have to assume that the lower floor is more attractive then the floor the hero is on. I am for exploring the current floor. Moreover, there might just be some stairs or an elevator. :)
