That is certainly a bitter and unwholesome predilection! And a potentially interesting backstory as to how she arrived at that :)
I like the regular version, the alternate would look pretty awesome as an in-universe information historical scroll type thing.

Ohhh I like it that I can see her personality reflected on this piece. It's really nice also that the colours that you chose here give a darker feeling to this artwork.
