When I was growing up the only Kingdom Hearts game I've ever played were Chain of Memories and Birth By Sleep and they were both fantastic games. 2-3 weeks ago they released a trailer for the 3rd sequel and I was really happy to see that Toy Story was going to be a part of it. So I decided to do a little drawing of them.
-what I had in mind originally but then I changed it because I realized that Sora's hair takes too much space. Donald and Goofy btw.
-what the finished product looked like (black and white)
-base colors. changed hair color of Sora towards the end to make it lighter but I didn't include it here.
-random notes
I didn't take any progress shots while drawing each character because I had a feeling I might trash the drawing, which I was on the verge of. What I struggled the most on was: coloring + drawing Sora's hair (too hard to replicate CGI hair), Buzz's green armor thing(shoulder area), Sora's left glove and Buzz's mouth(smile too hard). Sora's hair was by far the hardest part. It made me did not want to finish it and trash it completely. I took a 4 day break just thinking about his hair. Woody was actually pretty easy except the shine on his hair and lips, which I didn't even bother doing. Buzz's smile and green armor was also really confusing.
