Learning to draw heads and faces - Part 24

This is a piece I tried to do from imagination and you can totally see the proportions are all wrong and it looks sort of anime like. It might also be because I'm a bit tired and I don't really know why.

I thought real hard about what I should do next to improve my drawings and I really want to be able to draw easily from imagination.

What will follow is just anatomy studies of the whole body, all the bones and muscles in no particular order. I feel I really lack the basics and I might have jumped a bit too far by doing only works after reference and not gaining much insight in proportions and anatomy.

Another thing I wanted to tell you is from February I'll be going abroad to Greece to study for 5 months at the School of Architecture in Thessaloniki. Hopefully I'll be able to still upload drawings here just as easily. I will try to work even harder, no matter what :)

Hope you're doing well and I will see you soon with another post.

Until then, have a great day friends!
