Illustrating grandfather ❤ Request of the aunts❤

Greetings stemianos lovers of art and good content (^ ω ^) Today I want to share with you an illustration of a grandpa who was very loved in the family unfortunately is not physically with us but we keep alive his memories, in view of the development I have maintained In each of the drawings that I have made these last weeks, my aunts showed interest in what I do and they asked me to make the grandfather the three women joined for this and the curious thing were the measurements that they asked me which are significantly small in comparison with my previous works.

The realization was a challenge, particularly what I liked about this illustration was the elegant way of sitting of the grandfather.

This was so, one I wanted more smiling, the other that looked younger and the other was the one that imposed the size of the portrait.

Block paper bond measures (13 x 16)
Graphite pencil: HB, 2B, 3B, 5B
Diffuser: # 3, # 6

The first step was the realization of the sketch of the whole body keeping careful with the measurements since it was small 13 x 16 in view of this only the head had 3.5 x 3 and shoulders 6.5 cm, for this part use the HB pencil so that it would be better captured in the photo.

The following was to start with the eyes for this use the pencil 3B and the diffuser # 1 to do the shading of the eyes and the head all this with express care and calmness.

I can say that this part was the most time I took to make the full face 3 hours, as his nose was quite long and then it was like a balita was not easy to get.

With the 2B pencil I did what were the wrinkles of the shirt and then blend with the # 6 and make shadows where they were needed.

With the pencil 5B draw the trousers so that it was a dark tone and make the details of the wicker where it is sitting.
