I like both versions that you do, the one with the straight to ink and the other one with some pencil works. I think each style is gorgeous and has their own appeals, so please keep doing both of them :D.
The cat looks a bit strange, but then again since its an evil mastermind kitty, I think it's proper that it looks unusual. My favourite part is the flower like border on her cloth, so pretty :).

and yeah, i think i will do both versions, since the way i draw with my pencil is same with my ink, it is just that with pencil i can bring it to ink stage, but i can't do it the other way around haha... unless it's for shading, i guess ... :D

thank you :D even when i pencil, i draw straight into the finished version... i think it's how my brain is wired... i dont particularly think it is awesome, because it is very difficult to produce what i want !

It is rather exciting drawing with pen, where if you make a mistake you either have to try and make it work or just keep drawing over it til it's "fixed" XD Then you went ahead and made it more exciting by having a difficult pose XP which still worked out fine even with the minor oddities :D
I guess at least when you're going straight to ink everything is just coming out as it is, whenever I'm inking over pencil I always feel like I'm losing a bit of the flow of it. There's just something about sketchies XD

Specially when i make the errors :D but yeah, then it's FIX FIX FIX mode, and that's kinda .... "fun" in its own way. LOL....
It's so true though, when I pencil things first, there's a flow lost since I can erase and fix things so I always end up erasing and fixing things loads, until the picture feels 'perfect'

I want to pat the kitty but I dont. It is so cute looking and it looks very comfy in girl's arms. I especially love the little paw you drew hanging out the bottom. It really shows how calm the kitty is, but then again, it is most likely a trap since you said the cat was evil. So I won't go patting this little kitty.

I am glad you try the straight inking! It s an amazing experience. There is also a clue in this kind of technique: Listen to your drawing. As, the drawing talks, there is always an unexpected door which opens and reveals us a new path, letting flow the liner.
