Good questions! It says in-game super bouncers "take damage before all other units". But if you have 1000 super bouncers, 500 knifers and 250 gunmen, who defend and in what numbers? In the first version of the battles you couldn't get attacked while not logged in. Will now be different?

There will most likely be a new type of troops which super bouncers are vulnerable against if there’s an imbalance in the troop levels.

The rest will depend on research levels. A low research level empire with thousands of troops will be raided by somebody who has research lvl12 for each troop type. Despite only 200 attack pop. That’s normal MMO.

But there will be a point in troop level at which that low level becomes a trap and can eat most inbound attacks, despite lower research. Then when the top players complain about “too many traps”, the game will release additional research levels which solves it for the top players... and makes them spend again. Classic MMO IAP dev.
