"One by one will be joining us. The first one will be arriving soon. Until then, since we are all gathered here, does anyone have any questions?" the boss asked and the sea of hands rose. Everyone wanted to know something.
Did you notice the new implementation to the game platform? Drugwars game now has a live chat which you can use. Drugwars is a part of Futureshock and with other projects like Fundition, we are creating a brand new world, a brand new FUTURE. Now and again, nostalgia kicks in and we are reminded how the only constant in this Universe is the change itself. Technology is evolving so fast that kids these days have no idea about some things that the rest of us have used and loved just a couple of years ago. One of those things were chat rooms. Remember those?
Out with the old and in with the new is not always the best approach. Wisdom lies in recognizing what things are worthy of saving. Live chat is just that, a thing that we want to save. With our game implemented chat, players can talk to each other in real time while they are playing the game. There is no more need to switch tabs or browsers, search for people on discord or other platforms. It is simple, user-friendly and ready to use. You can see it in the bottom right corner when you log in to Drugwars.
Talk to one person or an entire gang!
Curently, the main chatroom is open and some of you are already getting yourself familiar with it. We will soon open the options to privately message just a single person and have a chat only within a specific gang. You will be able to choose between talking to one player or a lot of them. With the number of players the game has right now, there will almost certainly always be someone around you can say hello to, share your game experience or exchange a secret tactic you learned works best for you. It can even be a place for you to scout for new gang members and get to know people better.
You may even talk about new units
One of the things you can talk to people about is our new unit, the Lawyer. This is currently the only thing that can help you steal even those resources that another player has safe. Protected by BM, the Layer can reduce the safe of your opponent by up to 5% with each one reducing it by 0.01%. This revolutionary thing in the game sets a new precedent; what you thought was safe is not really that safe anymore. Lawyers are well educated and sneaky when it comes to their skills and we are sure that a lot of you will make good use of them in the game.
To promote our live chat option and to provide an open channel of communication with us, we will be joining it too. Once every week, one of the people from the Drugwars organization will come and join the live chat for an hour. It will be in two different times of the day so that players from different time zones get the chance to talk to us. You can ask as anything, from our favorite color and food to our Drugwars work and stuff about the game. We will be happy to answer as much of your questions as time will allow us. Live chat with us with all information about time and who is coming to chat will be announced a couple of days in advance so do not worry about missing it. We are looking forward to chatting with you!
"Go ahead and ask first Mercy, what do you want to know?" boss said while pointing at Mercy and hoping that all questions will be answered before the first gang boss appears.
"Well... I don't know if I talk for everyone but money talks, at least for me. I am all fine with you paying me but hey, if others have some jobs they are offering is it ok if I take them? he asked and looked for approval on other peoples faces.
"Sure, sure. You will all soon be able to take on different contracts and help those who need your services. Feel free to charge them as you believe is fair, I will not go into that unless I need to." Everyone welcomed those words with a big round of cheering and applause, even Marty.
