I just caught up with this interview - fascinating. The bit where Duro's toys were thrown into the river is very moving - though I totally understand why his mother had to do that! But that must have been such an emotional wrench for a small child. The seriousness of the situation must have hit home at that moment. And it must have been so terrible for the parents too. It's fantastic that all that trauma was channelled into something positive - basketball.

Just a wonderful interview with a wonderful person.
