You are totally right. Everyone has such strong opinions these days and they are not willing at all to compromise or see the other point of view. People are overlooking and dismissing totally rational arguments and policies just because it was presented by the opposing side. It is amazing that everyone is so eager to hamper the betterment of society simply because the solution came from the opposite political party. I remember a interview where people were being asked if they supported the affordable healthcare act and they were all for it. Then the same people were asked if the supported Obamacare and they were starkly opposed even though they are the same thing. Don't get me wrong, it happens on both sides. Society as a whole is on a bad path I fear...

@bozz I agree. I also find myself watching both sides of the argument these days. I feel a lot of what is being said across the spectrum holds water.
