RE: Outcry - Film music

in #dsound5 years ago

Okay, I haven't listened to a musical piece upvoted by @curie for a while... (Hey! Congratulations on that by the way, woo hoo!~) So might want to at least listen to one more thing before I go off to sleep and wake up to see the next thing in the @curie upvoted feed to enjoy next... So I shall carry out the same process as I always do, comment as I listen to it live... Okay I shall start in three,... two,... one,... GO!

Reacción (Reaction): Okay the title (especially being film music) is very interesting and what drew me in, not going to lie. Listening to the first beats, I like the first build-ups here and introducing us to the main beats we shall be accompanied with for the duration of the track. Okay now we are introduced to the second stage by at least the minute point and I can hear the piano being clanged. The possible spooky chase is now becoming suspenseful, now we get the intensity... which is followed by disrupting the flow, successfully, with a lil' tale of subversion showing a shift of power which in the end reveals the power of the entities instigating the chase as we get the music to build up intensity even further and further to the point where the disruption was the temporary triumph of the one being chased but really their loss of control in the situation as they are now victims to the whims of the stalker(s) in the scenario. And then the fourth act ending with the return of the original first act crew but the bands of the piano from the second act signifying the termination of the chase as the stalker(s) had won the day (possibly again)...

El texto (The text): Well, this certainly had worked as a minimalist piece for sure; really used what was necessary/fundamental to convey what needed to be conveyed. Also nice points of inspiration (also restrictions suck, even for minimalist pieces of any a kind). Also there were four acts, albeit my point of seeing differs just slightly from the concept of the post; glad I got the horror minimalism points down. And hey, it ain't stupid if it can captivate an audience like me with this ridiculously long comment.

So keep on music-crafting with your musicry over there and happy steeming!~
