12th song of this conceptual album The concept behind “The Unclenching of Fists” was devised by Bruno Fernandes, as a journey towards Enlightenment, beyond Space, Time and Flesh. All composition was handled by Paulo Vieira(@tiplas), Bruno Fernandes and The Firstborn. The lyrical component was developed by Bruno Fernandes, inspired by the Bardo Thödol, the Tibetan “Book of the Dead” and a limited amount of personal experience. The cover design, layout and photography was done by Phobos Anomaly. To this process contributed Rolando Barros, performing remarkably all percussion and cymbals, Nuno Gervásio, providing lead guitar on tracks 2 and 13, Guilhermino Martins (courtesy of Thanatoschizo) leading away throughout song 5, and Luís Simões playing sitar on tracks 7 and 9. All samples arranged by Paulo Vieira (@tiplas) and Bruno Fernandes.
