I always disregard the idea of being in love with you. My friends told me that I do. With forehead creased, I shook my head. And they all laughed at me and said, "You do. You're caught dead."
I am certain, like they way I am sure that the sun rises east and it goes down west, I am not in love with you. But every morning, those few minutes when I know I am awake but sleep is still lurking at the corner, I think of you and of how much I grow fonder of you; Of how your arms would feel wrapped around me; Of how your sleepy voice should wake me up day to day to day; Of how we should be drinking hot chocolate when the clouds are gray; And of how wonderful would it been if you were here beside me.
I tell myself I am not in love with you - but it surely feels like I really do.
