dStors is a for profit company designed to run on the Steem Blockchain so as to be fast and efficient.
That means the value of STORS is expected to rise as its utility also rises because that this will also equate to a rise in demand for STORS and circulate STEEM inside the ecosystem as well.

Any idea how the SMTs will work wallet-wise? Will they be visable in our STEEM wallets?
Not sure when SMTs will come out. STORS tokens will be stored in each persons bitshares account. so, openni g up a free bitshares account would be ideal.
Any idea how long round A is going to last?
We are ideally hoping to have Round A oversubscribed beyond the $750k target. Round A should stay open until the earliest projected launch date in January.
Round B will likely be started little after post launch.
I want you to recognize that you are distributing dSotors coins less than 10% of your total coins while Steemhunt is distributing 50% of its total coins. I suggest you to raise the ratio of distribution.

As the White Paper states, inflation (release of STORS) is pegged to the daily transaction volumes. Buyers and sellers "earn" dStors by completing transactions. In other words, we won't be doing free airdrops which always cheapens a coin either in the short term or long term.
"Freemium" is not our business model. "Profit" is our model and we incentivise shopping well past the point of a completed transaction by rewarding STORS tokens that can be spent for upvotes.
The larger storage of STORS coins are reserved and released as rewards to buyers and sellers as transactions complete. We believe $1 Mil transaction to $10 million transaction periods will release 10,000 to 100k tokens (not yet finalized). So, STORS inflation is totally pegged to transaction volumes.
So, your suggestion of comparing STORS to steemhunt is apples to oranges, IMHO. Why? Steemhunt is not a "for profit" business; dStors is 100% for profit incorporation. We can not afford to run a business on freemium. That's why STORS tokens are "earned" by the buyers and sellers by completing transactions. It's the meaning behind our motto: Monetize your shopping.
All dStors team members are also vested in their rewards so there won't be an immediate dumping of STORS tokens by team members or employees. This again allows dStors team members to have long term skin in the game.

@dstors will all goods and services be sold only for Steem/SBD on launch? Will the STORS token be used for purchases on the platform at all? For example, could products be priced at a discount in STORS tokens rather than Steem/SBD? Is it possible other SMTs on Steem that have value and liquidity could also be used for transactions? This could give the STORS token and other SMTs additional value. Just curious if this has been discussed or planned?

For launch it will initially be fiat, Steem or SBD. The STORS tokens will be used as a form of reward that the buyer and seller can choose to redeem for upvotes or they can sell them to the exchange.
Ideally, we want people to make that choice. So if they are willing to accept AFIT token or HUNT or whatever other smt, then they should be able to.
I see what you mean. Ability to accept multiple tokens makes things easier on the buyer. The step of not trading a token to Steem could have influence on if they make the purchase. Of course the buyer accepting a token may want to trade that token to Steem, SBD or fiat, and that could lead to a revenue source for dStors of you give the ability to trade on site for a few. And if you set a standard that anytime the STORS token is used the price is discounted x percent, say 5% or whatever the standard is, that really gives extra incentive to buy and hold STORS tokens for a reason other than trading for upvotes. That could put a lot of value and upward pressure on the price of STORS. I mean what is the value of the token, what can it do that Steem or SBD can’t? Trade for upvotes? That’s great and exciting, but you can do that with Steem and other SMTs. Setting a standard for what makes STORS valuable that no other token can do, that’s where you could exclusively make that the token where buyers save 5% by transacting in this token. Not Steem, sbd, any other SMT, or fiat. Anyways, food for thought, thanks for listening! @dstors rocks!

The delegated SP will be will be used to upvote those who "spend" their rewarded STORS tokens by sending it to @dStors. This is the primary component of enhanced incentive model; hence monetize ones shopping.

Yes, but delegators who post about dStors will get first priority of upvotes. Please don't forget, that each SP will receive 3 STORS tokens.
Where is the store? All you have is a whitepaper? Everyone can write whitepaper and start asking for delegations.
We had a beta site open and available but we are now putting together the platform for launch in January/February. Our devs are working to release the site and we will soon call for pre-launch acount registrations to the dStors site.

Good to hear that. Let me ask one more question: is it open source project?
No, it's not open sourced...Yet. We will decide if it's needed at all for a platform like this. It's a domain site interfaced to the steem blockchain. This way sbd/steem payments will be rapidly processed via an escrow feature. We believe that dStors, a for profit business, will enable a platform where STEEM and SBD can easily be spent for merchandise listed. There is no such platform currently available that allows easy spend of STEEM/SBD.
It'll very much be like ebay in usability for both buyers and sellers. Auction process as well as fixed price sales. Except, once a transaction completes, both buyers and sellers will be rewarded STORS tokens proportional to the value of the transaction.
These STORS tokens can then be spent for an upvote from @dStors or sold on the Bitshares Exchange for FIAT or any other crypto.
The business and token model aims to allow buyers and sellers to monetize their shopping.
We need shopping platform but after dlive drama I don't think Steemit, Ned or other whales will delegate SP to closed project.
If you haven't noticed, Ned is powering down his wallet.
dStors is offering a ground floor opportunity to capture STORS tokens which will almost only be released as rewards to completed shopping transactions to both buyers and sellers.
These tokens can then be spent for upvotes on either Steemit or Whaleshares. The demand for STORS is expected to rise. Bitshares Exchange will also have STORS trading for market buy/sells.
We have plenty of WLS balance to provide rewards. SP will be called for as delegations but we also have plan to organically fund our own SP. Just about ALL profits will be plowed into organically funding our SP. We will strategically establish multiple accounts of 4 Mil SP putting out upvotes when holders of STORS token send for them. And at current prices, seven figure SP account funding is not only a tremendous investment back into the Steem community but also wise as we'll be buying at the bottom and not top.
So, have I answered enough of your questions to earn your SP delegation? Yes? Great! No? Moving on.

Yes, the minimum is 500 SP which at today's price is equivalent to $120.
Less than 500 SP are not eligible for STORS tokens.
