Thanks for the understanding , this was really needed and we still feel bad for missing a deadline. What we actually want to provide is a smooth experience for our users.
Don't fret on the deadline, a lot of the people will understand. Rather it be done right then rushed. There is always bumps in the road, that is life. At the same time imo, at some point you have to go for it! :) Thanks, talk soon.
