I agree on the bid bot negative ROI point - some kind of maximum total bid amount for each window would be in order to prevent any really bad auction windows arising (whether this is negative ROI or some other level I don't know - I think I would have to understand better the level of profit and losses the owners are making).
I'd also like to see a maximum bid per user to prevent abuse - no post really needs $100+ of promotion, and I think excessive use is one area which gives bid bots their bad name.

It will be a short stay, less than 24 hours but perhaps we'll go see the Tower.
Yes a max bid would also work. Anything that balances the deal out for everyone will help restore confidence.
I'm pretty sure the owners are making a good living - we would not have 30+ options otherwise.
If I had a bid-bot, a max bid, the 3.5 day post age, and no negative ROI would all be in place.

It's blowing a gale here, and apparently there is a Cyclone heading to Reunion!
I love your personal life updates. In comparison to Berlin, the weather in Mallorca is dreamlike. I don't know if you remember but you inspired me to take a trip to the warm parts of Europe. I am going to travel to Malta this Saturday and am looking forward to seeing how Reunion and how the life there looks like! :)
