YOU'RE BEING TRICKED - The Altcoin Explosion and Behavioral Economics

I read the book several years ago but sort of take it lightly. Correlation being what it is. There's definitely plenty of manipulation going on, but I think people are more skeptical and at least more aware of being manipulated than ever before in history. I'm not saying that people are not being duped. They definitely are, but people make their decisions with the full knowledge there's someone behind the curtain. I think the part that's a problem mostly is the self-delusion. People just want to believe so badly that they'll completely disregard common sense. That's partly derived from the kind of soul-deadening apathy that daily life brings, the feeling that the cards are stacked up against you, and the need for hope to keep you alive.
