how usable would it be as a main light?
I think it could be used as a main light for tight shots. For wider shots I don't think it has power for distance
A company recently reached out to me and offered something similar for free provided I make a video for them to put online. I'm tempted to do it. I looked and it costs about 150 pounds on Amazon so it's not a cheap product.
How useful are they for something just making videos at his desk like me? :)
You should do it as it's a really useful light. I like how it is portable and USB C rechargeable. I've been looking at these since Jeremy Siers did a review of the Boling P1 but that light is more expensive and doesn't come with the diffusion, etc so decided on this one. So far I'm happy with it.

It just seemed a little too good to be true, and I'm a skeptic at everything haha.
