I do agree on some points that there is benefit for market analysis. I think the problem happens when it goes beyond the market analysis into self analysis.

Yes for the market it makes absolute sense because eventually you'll grow when you put your establishment into comparisons with big companies they'll be like a footstep, yeah and not so much for self it may cause self loathing
