I've been appreciating 3speak lately too. I hope they continue to upgrade service.
I had some depression and trauma after my grandmother died and I was evicted from the family home. These kind of laws would probably be so broadly used that they would prevent me from having the legal right to defend myself.
Mass shootings are indeed a problem in the US but taking a blanket rule to cover all citizens because a small % misuse the right doesn't seem like the right way to go about it. Putting more decision making in the hands of the government is never a good idea like you said they can misuse it in ways we could never.
