The TSA (and other experiments in evil)

In 1961, a psychologist conducted an experiment demonstrating how ordinary men and women could be induced to inflict torture on complete strangers merely because an authority figure had ordered them to do so. In 2001, the United States government formed the Transportation Security Administration to subject hundreds of millions of air travelers to increasingly humiliating and invasive searches and pat downs. These two phenomena are not as disconnected as they may seem. Join us today on The Corbett Report as we explore The TSA (and other experiments in evil).

TSA screening = Sexual assault!

I for one refuse to fly and allow myself to be groped by "order followers". I choose to boycott that disgusting system. I wonder how fast the airlines would force the government to halt the screening program if everyone boycotted flying for just one week.

We don't have it as bad in UK but I got threatened with guns for questioning why I could bring 6 100ml containers and an empty litre bottle. The security guy could not answer this question so I asked why I should adhere when he can't give me a logical answer. I was promptly surrounded but three men in fancy dress with machine guns 💯🐒

Like I said if everyone refrained from flying for one week.....

I thought you might want to correct the spelling for your employment field, the last time I checked the word should be "crisis". You wrote: "I work in cricis intervention."

Setting positive examples of disobedience...

...no wonder the yellow vests don't get any coverage!

Americans are so stupid that they buy bottled tap water . But when Americans wake up from their slumber , things are going to get sporty .

Man is free at the instant he wants to be. Voltaire

The most important point of the Milgram experiment that isn't talked about enough... the mear example of someone refusing to be obedient to authority should inspire many ! Thank you James for pointing that out!

It's all part of the conditioning desensitising us to repeated violations of out personal space and privacy. We are willing slaves allow sexual abuse tom take place. People forget if you did this you would be in jail is they stopped and thought for just a moment. Not to mention the agents being exposed to dangerous waves causing cancers 💯🐒

I simply asked a question....asking a question does does not make me a liar.

Your words: "you have a cruel heart dear as well as being a dam liar."

It is so sad to see you attack myself and others here on Steemit. It is very apparent that you have unresolved issues that are causing you to lash out and write to others in such a vulgar manner. Perhaps you have an uncomfortable job that weighs heavy on your heart. I strongly urge you to seek help. Life is too short.

Shame can be a major anger trigger because when we harbor shame, we tend to react defensively when we're criticized or given even mild feedback. We may then use anger to divert attention away from our painful, hidden feelings the way a magician uses misdirection when performing a card trick.
