We MAY actually NEED robots in our Pharmacies in the US. There has been a silent pogrom on patients suffering with chronic pain. The fentanyl / opiate hysteria has causes many injured veterans, elderly, and trades men to take their own lives because of unclear guidelines for dispensing their doctor prescribed medication.
The US has laws against discrimination based on disability but CVS, Wallgreens, and Wal-Mart routinely turn away patients because they are unsure of the rules.
The patients and their doctors know the law and are not violating it. In the past, there were abuses but they have been "purged out" of the doctors offices. This purge totally ignored the addicts right to humane treatment but I am focusing on the dependent patient who is being tortured through no fault if their own.
Robots would not make judgement calls. Legal prescriptions would be dispensed or delivered without doubt or sadism. It is a sign of a cultural turn towards evil. The witch hunters have run out of witches so any patient will do.
To those with loved ones suffering with chronic pain, there is hope. Magnesium has been used in Cuba for treating pain. It also increases opiate efficacy so smaller doses will still work. Kratom is a decent supplement for pain symtoms too. If you have access to Lexus Nexus or a college medical journal database, you will discover the world has alternatives to the US medical mafia. We also need to end the US medical mafia momopoly now. Freetrade Healthcare is a human right and makes everyone richer. Outsource these mafioso's job and watch the prices settle down to a low international standard.
