I'm assuming this is going to require a total lockdown in terms of both chat and donations thanks to all the vitriolic Gamer tourists who have no interest in speedruns outside of GDQ.
Meanwhile actual speedrunners will be bearing the brunt of the needless harassment. Simply because a smattering of bitter wannabes and suspected incels are seething in the background due to an event they're not involved with and could easily ignore taking place without their personal approval.
