I've pretty much given up on Dtube for the time being. My video uploads are successful 50% of the time if I'm lucky. Sometimes it fails during one of the processing stages, sometimes it just stops uploading with no error given, sometimes I get an error like you described. Sometimes it works too but it isn't worth the time and effort. There doesn't seem to be any pattern. The videos I've attempted to upload have all been in the 3-5 minute range and in the same format.

I've mostly switched to Daily Motion for the time being...
