Aquí les dejo una emotiva participación realizada en compañía de mi paciente la Sra Rosita Buraglia de 86 años de edad. Hace aproximadamente cuatro meses ella sufrió una caída desde su propia altura, lo cual le ocasiono un traumatismo craneoencefálico severo con hematoma subdural siendo necesario ingresar en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en un hospital de Bogotá, por lo cual tuvo que recibir una terapéutica agresiva bajo ventilación mecánica y coma inducido, fue dada de alta de la institución hospitalaria luego de estar hospitalizada durante un mes , a partir de ese momento fueron solicitados mis servicios de enfermero; se ha conformado un equipo multidisciplinario de salud para tratarla lo mas adecuada y profesionalmente posible..
La música ha pasado a ser la principal terapéutica en la recuperación y mejoría en el estado neurológico de Doña Rosita, es hermoso y gratificante observar como ha venido recuperándose y reincorporándose al disfrute de sus familiares y amigos, su hija nos refiere que su mama nunca canto en publico y verla cantar ahora ha causado un asombro y un impacto grandisimo tanto para ella como para todos sus familiares no solo debido a la avanzada edad de Doña Rosita sino a su cuadro clínico. Yo me encuentro sumamente realizado y feliz como profesional me llena gratamente sentir que además de aportar mi conocimiento científico a través de la música he podido ayudar a esta hermosa señora y a su familia tratando de hacer un día a día mas agradable y dinámico con lo cual mi paciente evidencia mejoría en cuanto a su salud y a estado de animo.
Como reflexión quiero dejar este mensaje a todos los que escuchan y ven mi post, es importante al tratar con personas mayores, llenar su día a día de vivencias agradables, de hermosos recuerdos, tengamos presente que son personas que se encuentran en el umbral de la vida, en este vídeo les doy una pequeña pero muy emotiva muestra de nuestra rutina diaria que va mas allá de una mera rutina medica u hospitalaria y con escucharla lo sentirán. Here I leave an emotional participation made in the company of my patient Ms. Rosita Buraglia, 86 years old. Approximately four months ago she suffered a fall from her own height, which caused a head injury with subdural hematoma and it was necessary to enter the intensive care unit in a hospital in Bogota, for which she had to receive aggressive therapy under ventilation. Music has become the main therapeutic in the recovery and improvement in the neurological state of Doña Rosita, it is beautiful and rewarding to observe how she has been recovering and reincorporating herself to the enjoyment of her family and friends, her daughter tells us that her mother never sang in public and seeing her sing now has caused astonishment and a great impact both for her and for all her family members, not only due to Doña Rosita's advanced age, but also because of her clinical condition. I am very fulfilled and happy as a professional I am very pleased to feel that besides contributing my scientific knowledge through music I have been able to help this beautiful lady and her family trying to make a more pleasant and dynamic day to day with which my patient evidence improvement in terms of health and mood
As a reflection I want to leave this message to all who listen and see my post, it is important to deal with older people, try to fill their day to day with pleasant experiences, beautiful memories, keep in mind that they are people who are at the threshold of life, in this video I give you a small but very emotional sample of our daily routine that goes beyond a mere medical or hospital routine and with listening will feel it.
