Why has racial profiling been prohibited? I don't find that wrong since it's not directed against the individual.

I don't think that racial profiling is racist in all cases. For example if America had a problem with Canadian illegal aliens they'd be profiling near the northern border based on people's accents.
I'd be willing to bet that accent came big into play with Arpaio too. For example if a latino near the southern border couldn't speak a lick of English, there's probably a high probability that the person may have immigrated unlawfully. That's just common sense.
Basically, the term racist is being disingenuously used as a political weapon these days.
Here's another instance of that very thing.
Most of this is propaganda designed to destroy national sovereignty by erasing the borders. If you have no borders, you have no nation State. If you have no nation State, you have no national sovereignty.
The North American Union was aborted, and the European Union has failed and is collapsing. World government will fail, and that's a good thing! Some people just can't get past that, so they engage in smear tactics.
You are dead wrong. I have friends that are 6th generation Americans getting stopped in Phoenix routinely because they look like what they are. Hispanic. Not a crime to be Hispanic and especially not a crime to look Hispanic.
Fact of the matter is the 2010 Census will show Arizona to be a majority Hispanic state. When the Hispanics start voting in the same percentage as others things will change.
Curious question for you @bigtom13: If Arizona is a majority Hispanic State as you say; then how can your 6th generation American friends be so certain that they are being profiled because of their ethnicity? Logically speaking, the majority of people that cops pull over should have everything to do with the prevailing ethnicity of the population. If I'm white and I live in a small town where their are only 5% black people, and the local sheriff is black, and he pulls me over should I then be able to use his police record as proof that he's profiling white people, and somehow bigoted against white people? Or, is he just doing his job and the prevailing population just so happens to be white?
Because the first question is not "Do you know why I stopped you?" Or "license and registration please" but "Let me see your Green Card". Simple.
Well, if that was me: I'd reply to him in my best deadpan American accent: "Show me your purse". Then I'd sit quiet and wait for him to rephrase the question.
If he showed me his purse, and I liked it. I'd probably compliment it. Hell, I'd probably compliment it even if I didn't.
