We are all familiar with the notion of "white privilege" but are you familiar with the concept of "black privilege." In all honesty, neither was I until I picked up a copy of Charlamagne tha God's Black Privilege.
Charlamagne is a hip-hop radio DJ and entrepreneur. In his newest book, Black Privilege, Char discusses the obstacles he faced in his own life and how he has come to believe that adversity provides opportunity as well as its own set of super powers.
I think it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, we all have some sort of privilege. Char does a good job of reminding us in his book that our perceived weaknesses are often our biggest strengths.
