That's a very clever approach, buying SP from SBD is always good for the platform and a quick way to increase your SP. Like if your payout of a post is $20, you won't be getting too much SP due to the price of Steem but at the same time, if you invest your SBDs of that post into SP, you will be getting a good amount of SP from that one post!
Though the money part is there but from now, whenever you talk about Steemit with anyone, tell them that this community is for building relations with people, like the world of like minded people, earning bucks should be the primary objective, that's what I think!
