Investors Need To Be & Will Be A Key Component To The Success Of Steem

Let's be real. Steem could use some major bankroll. What I mean is that I believe investors should be welcomed to invest in Steem.

Investors put their money, time, or energy at risk just like everyday people who choose to go to work or whatever else to receive some sort of compensation.

The top 3 things I think we need to address right now in the Steem community is 1. Inviting major investors 2. Fix onboarding issues 3. Market and promote the unicorn that is the Steem blockchain

What are your thoughts on Steem needing investors to further boost confidence in Steem and to also boost the price of Steem?

@humanearl,
With all previous (newest) development news of STEEM we can see STEEM is now moving forward faster and steady than the previous year! Hope everything might work well and like you said, yeah we should get more attention! Somehow STEEM Marketing team should try something new to market it!

Cheers~

Just imagine what this next year will hold. The good thing is we have turned things around at the right time I believe.

I agree with your point about marketing too. But I also think we should be attacking the issue with onboarding first.

I think one important thing investors lookout for is stability, another thing is the risk factor and they also look at how profitable the investment will become. They also look at leadership and policy change. If you are outside looking at Steem as a new investor that wants to invest in Steem without bias, men it'll scares you. Lol. Because a lot of the things as they are are unpredictable. Most people here love it and it's not all about the money any longer, but from a real business point of view the are so many uncertainty. HF21 is coming and up till this moment there is no clear forecast of what the outcome will be, we are relaying on assumption based on human behavior which is so unpredictable. If an investor is profit minded, we probably have a long way to go but if the investor is the one that can just throw in the money for the love of it, then maybe we have a chance. Just my 2 cents contribution which I know is probably worth nothing 😂.

I'm not sure what the unpredictability is though. What would you say it is?

When I first invested in Steem it was due to a number of factors but a big pull for me was the idea of tokenizing the internet and creating economically sustainable communities.

It really too depends on the investors appetite for risk. The fact that so many more institutional investors are entering into the crypto space shows that confidence is growing.

I have a big taste for risk but that's not a blind risk at all mainly because I do my best to do my due diligence and factor in more than just profit.

But good points. Not all will have the same mindset when they invest. With that said, any investor that looks deeply into what Steem is and slowly doing will find a highly underrated and undervalued asset.

Very correct, risk appetite is a key factor. I think the people that have been able to look deeply into Steem are developers and that is why we see many new things happening. Most big investors are not so tech wise and they rely a lot on feedbacks. If you are a big time investor with no idea of what cryptos really are but want to check up on Steem. Would what you read on the trending page interest you or scare you? Lol. I joined Steem September last year and by October the HF20 hit. I can't tell you how confused I was at first. But having lost some cash on some other cryptos I knew how things roll so I kept pushing forward. Can we really 100% tell an investor who invest $1 mil on steem what will happen after HF21? Those are some of the uncertainties investors don't link. Cheers.

Steem doesn't have and ICO earlier so bringing investment right now can really boost up a lot of things
