Thanks Jon for another awesome book review. I hear you, time to get back into books! I had to leave a lot behind when I moved back from Australia in '13, yet I still have a small collection and I've not read a book in yonks even though I keep saying to myself and other people, "time to get back into books!".
I agree with your comments, we are being "pulled in so many different directions its such a challenge to us to get onto the path to success and to ignore all the noise". As I have written and commented on many times before, the impact of distractions are painful. Many times I get into the zone of writing for a few minutes, then someone else demands attention. How we deal with issues like that in our own lives determines our character, our true nature. I accept these distractions now for what they really are, a test of commitment and endurance.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to your next book review.
