Indeed, and apparently the dollar from large companies is more almighty to them than all the dollars they made with small content creators.
It's been said before, and I guess it will be said again, they would rather recycle clips from the Tonight Show with official permission from NBC, becoming a sort of discount Netflix, as opposed to a place where creators could be free to be unique and speak their minds.
I think it was TJ Kirk that said (and I might not get the quote exact) "YouTube would rather be the next Netflix, than the 1st YouTube".
I thought it kind of sums up how YouTube failed to live up to what they could have been.
