I was poking around the blockchain today and read an absolute fantastic (albeit straight to the point) blog post from @taskmaster4450
In it, he stated boldly... "Steem Doesn't Need You!"
Talk about being blunt!
But after reading it, I agreed with him completely and in this day and age of 'entitlement' it's nice to hear members of the Steemit community say things that need to be said! And more importantly, need to be heard!
The remedy!
Adding value daily to this blockchain and engaging with others is the sure fire way to help grow the platform.
Before anyone complains about an upvote or not getting one. Or how the whales can attract thousands of followers and you struggle to find 50....Ask yourself this...
Am I adding value to the blockchain every day?
If so.....KEEP GOING!
If not....Remember, adding value consistently is the ultimate way for true success in any business. Why wouldn't it be different here?

Isn't that true? Thanks for pointing out to his post, I might've missed it, despite following the man. The past few days I had more things to do outside steemit and started to lose track of some of the interesting posts of the people I follow here.
